Well, with the weather being pretty grim recently who would want to venture outside when you can shop from the comfort of your own home. We have found that it is an increasing trend to buy online and sales from our website are increasing year on year and not just in the UK but worldwide. The wonders of modern technology are changing the way people shop.
Now, as much as online shopping has taken off, and I do it myself, it is nice to get out and absorb some of that Christmas atmosphere as the big day approaches. We are social creatures and it is nice to get out meet people, see all the bright lights and get to touch and feel what you are buying. Especially for us, after all, art is a sensory experience.
Another benefit of pulling on your winter woollies is that sometimes you can find things that are just not online. One off special gifts, new pieces not seen before, something different, something unique. We have lots of lovely gift ideas that we just don't put on our website.
So, if you are looking for a special gift for friends or family, or even yourself, put on your scarf and woolly hat and come and enjoy a bit of seasonal goodwill on Sunday 6th December when we will be having our annual Mulled Wine and Mince Pies open day. For one day only, we will be offering 10% off everything in the gallery!
You can pop in any time between 10am and 5pm, knowing that you are not going to be trampled by someone looking for a cheap plasma television while enjoying a warming drink and a chat in a more civilised environment. Now, that sounds a distinctly more British way to do things, doesn't it?
A flavour of the gift items here at West Gallery. Not all available online, come to the gallery to see more choice.
