To compound the panic of getting ready for Friday's opening, we had to prepare a pop-up exhibition for Holsworthy Museum foyer at the weekend. There was a private view on Sunday with lots of local people there and quite a buzz going on, mostly due to the organisational abilities of Shawn, Anna and Di at the museum. The exhibition provides just a glimpse of what we have at the gallery, so if you are in Holsworthy pop in and have a look, better still why not come over to the gallery, we are only 15 minutes away.
With all the rushing about trying to get things organised, it's easy to forget that we are in the business of selling pictures and I am pleased to say that we have found new homes for two of my hare pictures (below). Quite appropriate as it is March. Don't worry hare fans, I will be painting some more soon, watch this space.
The only problem with selling paintings is it means I've got to paint some more! It's all go you know! However, due to the popularity of my watercolours, we have decided to produce prints of some of them which will provide an affordable alternative. I will let you know when they are available. In the meantime, better get my brushes out!
